How to Know if Youre a Great Fit as a Journeyman Ironworker at S&R:
- You ARE an Ironworker. Whether its rigging connecting plumbing or bolting youve done it all when erecting steel.
- Youre comfortable with reading plans.
- Youre not afraid of heights.
- You dont wimp out and get whiny about the weather. It could be 10 degrees or 110 degrees you know its part of the job and are prepared for it.
- You understand the seriousness of the work and the importance of safety.
- You take pride in the work you do.
Heres What Youll be Responsible For:
Keep the Project Moving: You are key to making sure that the work gets done so that the project keeps moving on schedule.
Keep the Quality High: You make sure that nothing is missing and that the work meets all standards. At the end of the day you make sure that cleanup happens and all materials are cared for.
Keep Everyone Safe: You are not only responsible for your own safety but also the safety of the team members you are working with. If you see something thats out of line you arent afraid to call it out.

Basic Requirements to Join Our Team as a Journeyman Ironworker:
- You must be a U.S. Citizen or Naturalized Citizen.
- You must have at least 3 years of experience as an ironworker erecting steel.
- You must have your own tools.
How We Take Care of Our Journeyman Ironworkers:
- $28 to $32 per hour
- Generous per diem compensation for candidates outside of the project area $300 to 400
- Overtime is available to maximize your income.
- Housing in ST Croix will be provided by S&R Enterprises.
