Job Description
Candidates must be selfmotivated who can understand technical concepts and collaborate on technical direction on a small team in an agile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Handson engineering operations and maintenance of scalable IT infrastructure
- Administration of Linux servers in a hybrid onpremise and cloud environment; experience with AWS is highly desired
- Working with DevOps processes and toolsets to support software teams in dev test and production environments
- Working both independently with little supervision as well as in a team environment.
- Coordinating with Information System Security Officers to ensure all standards and best practices are implemented in system architecture
- Assisting external customers with development and troubleshooting of IT and software systems
- Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
- Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
- Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs
Qualifications:
- Experience working on Linux based infrastructure
- Linux system administrator experience with AWS building and managing highlyavailable faulttolerant systems (i.e. EC2 VPC ELB IAM Autoscaling)
- Expertise with Kubernetes containerization and clustering in production
- Experience implementing CI/CD
- Configuration and managing databases such as Postgres Mongo
- Experience with server configuration management or infrastructure automation tools (i.e. Ansible Puppet)
- Scripting experience (i.e. Bash/shell Python)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of Agile development processes
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- CompTIA Security or IAT II certification
