Job Description

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a key member of the HR team providing support and counsel to managers for a wide variety of business initiatives including but not limited to employee relations compensation organizational development leaves of absence and recruiting. The HR Business Partner must be effective at building strong relationships across the organization to deliver valueadded service to management and employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders to support people initiatives aligned to growth and innovation including organizational design workforce planning employee engagement and change management.
  • Provide consultation coaching and guidance to people managers to build capability and a highperformance work culture focused on delivering results nurturing relationships building morale and increasing productivity and retention.
  • Provide counsel and guidance to front line management on employee relations issues and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Partner with HR leadership in conducting effective thorough and objective investigations.
  • Review and analyze business data to identify trends influence action and support decision making.
  • Support Coinstars compensation programs through job evaluations market analyses and ad hoc assignments.
  • Maintain indepth knowledge of legal requirements related to daytoday management of employees to ensure regulatory compliance and reduce legal risks; partner with legal department as needed/required.
  • Provide recruiting support on an asneeded basis.
  • Administer employee engagement programs and platforms.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business or related field preferred or the equivalent work experience.
  • 3 years HR Business Partner/Generalist experience inclusive of working knowledge of recruiting compensation practices organizational diagnosis employee relations performance management and federal and state employment laws required international and indepth compensation experience desired.
  • HRIS experience required; UltiPro experience a plus.
  • PHR/SPHR or equivalent a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office

  • Demonstrated track record in multiple HR disciplines including compensation change management talent management employee relations diversity performance management federal and state employment laws.
  • Strong criticalthinking analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Proven experience in influencing coaching and developing leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner at all levels of the organization to achieve results.
  • Proven success at developing strong relationships to gain support and achieve results.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively and comfortably when dealing with ambiguity.
  • Must be selfdirected motivated and results oriented.
  • Attention to detail with a high concern for accuracy confidentiality and discretion.

Location and Business Travel

  • This position is based at our corporate headquarters in Bellevue WA. Work from home arrangements are welcome within the Greater Seattle area.
  • This position requires little to no business travel.

Pay and Benefits

For this role new hires generally start between $100952 $126189. For Washington State or jurisdictions that require the publication of salary ranges the base salary range for this position is $100952 $151427. Coinstar utilizes geographically based pay ranges within the United States which allows us to pay competitively and consistently based on location. Within the range for the applicable geographic area individual pay is determined by several factors including jobrelated skills experience and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share the salary range specific to your location. ShortTerm bonus incentives are a part of the total compensation package and are based on Company and Individual performance.

Physical Requirements

Sedentary work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer using a keyboard mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets office equipment etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects. Communicate and exchange information with coworkers and other individuals in person and electronically.
