Do you have a passion for making a real difference in the lives of people living with mental health challenges and disabilities At Easterseals PORT Health were seeking a compassionate and dedicated Fulltime Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Facility Based Clinic in Washington NC. As an integral part of our collaborative and supportive team you will work alongside a team of professionals all committed to transforming the lives of individuals seeking assistance for substance use.
What Youll Do
The primary purpose of theNurse is to provide patients with services including screening medication/prescription management assisting the treatment team treatment aftercare and referral services. This position will provide medication and medical assistance to mental health and substance abuse clients. This position will work in collaboration with other clinical professionals to facilitate positive outcomes for our clients. The nursing professional maintains accurate and up to date medical documentation and client medication logs in addition to assisting other staff members in maintaining a therapeutic and healthy clinical environment for all clients.
How Youll Benefit:
Youll earn a competitive salary depending on skills and experience. This is a fulltime position offering a pay range of $22.00 to $27.00 per hour. The work schedule consists of 40 hours per week from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The role also requires working every other weekend during the same hours 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. What Were Looking For
Were seeking an empathetic and patientfocused individual to provide care in the outpatient clinic. Excellent oral and written communication skills the ability to handle multiple responsibilities and assign priorities and a valid unrestricted stateappropriate drivers license are essential.
We also require the following:
- An active unrestricted nursing license to practice in North Carolina
- A valid drivers license current auto insurance and a good driving record
- Prior mental health experience preferred but not required
