Job Description
Shaw Jewish Community Center is the home to an award winning childcare center. The ECE is a learning environment that focuses on Jewish values (kindess respect and community) and all faiths are welcome here! We are looking for a full or part time float teacher to have an adventure each day by going into different classrooms to maintain required ratios.
The float teach will also assist with transitioning classes to other areas (gym pool or special programs) and assist with breaks lunch periods and nap time. Other general responsibilities include making copies/print outs for teachers or office staff maintaining checklist for cleaning and sanitizing and keeping classrooms neat and organized and taking inventory and resupply classrooms with needed supplies.

Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent reading skills
Strong organization and planning skills
Minimum of 2 years experience working with infants and toddlers
Education:
Associates degree or higher in Early Childhood Education Child Development preferred but not required
CPR First Aid Communicable Disease and Child Abuse Awareness trainings
