Job Description

Our client is a toprated litigation firm founded by former Big Law attorneys seeking to cultivate a more collaborative mentorshipfocused environment. The firm is renowned for its sophisticated practice representing contractors governmental entities and highnetworth individuals including professionals sports figures and private clients with extensive real estate and construction interests. Position Overview:

  • We are seeking an experienced MidLevel Construction Litigation Attorney with 47 years of relevant litigation experience. We encourage those with more or less to apply. This role requires an individual who appreciates attention to detail has an entrepreneurial spirit and values longterm client relationships while benefiting from the firms strong mentorship culture and opendoor policy. The ideal candidate will thrive in a highcaliber legal environment and demonstrate the ability to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and litigate a broad spectrum of constructionrelated disputes and complex litigation matters.
  • Handle cases from inception through resolution including drafting pleadings motions and legal memoranda.
  • Conduct depositions present arguments at hearings attend mediations and assist in trials.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys for guidance and strategic case development.
  • Maintain strong client relationships offering legal counsel tailored to the sophisticated needs of contractors trades governmental bodies and high networth individuals.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with a strong academic record.
  • Active bar membership in Florida in good standing.
  • 47 years of construction litigation and complex litigation experience; candidates with more senior experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Proven ability to manage cases with strong analytical negotiation and courtroom skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary ranging from $145000 to $175000 depending on experience.
  • Performancebased bonus structure tied to billed and collected hours.
  • Minimum billing requirement: 1800 hours annually.
  • 100 employerpaid healthcare plus dental and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) plan with a 3 firm contribution after one year of employment.
  • Pension and profitsharing plans.
  • Paid CLE and Bar dues (local and state).
