Description

The Regional Clinical Director is the individual responsible for the clinical oversight and adherence to best practice of assigned agency region. The Regional Clinical Director coordinates carefully and closely with the Regional Executive Director the Chief Clinical Officer and the Clinical Leadership Team. This position is the clinical point of contact for assigned programs and works to support them through regular supervision training and input. The Regional Clinical Director will take a handson approach to ensure the programs are supported in a way that maintains clinical excellence.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Collaborate with community partners and maintain clinical standards.
  • Develop and implement clinical strategies with a strong dotted line to the Chief Clinical Officer.
  • Offer ongoing training and support to clinicians including training in models of care and EBPs.
  • Provide clinician training and coverage as needed.
  • Conduct regular case review meetings with all clinicians.
  • Assess and review clinical program quality and implement improvement plans to ensure quality of care goals are met.
  • Offer clinical supervision to new clinicians for licensure (as able).
  • Review Comprehensive Clinical Assessments (CCAs) and clinical notes for accuracy.
  • Advise programs regarding complex referrals and transitions of care.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and be capable of operating a motor vehicle.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Masters level position with clinical licensure required. Five to ten years of clinical experience in Child and Adolescent behavioral health. North Carolina experience preferred. Proficiency in MS Office applications.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read analyze and interpret professional journals governmental regulations or legal documentation. Ability to write reports and business correspondence in a prescribed format and style. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of children senior managers clients and families volunteers and the public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions percentages ratios and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.

CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS

Valid NC or SC Drivers license. Clinical license required.
