About The Opportunity
In your role as anApprentice Electricianyou will focus on learning and developing electrical trade skills in order to use those skills to provide quality support to Bundaberg Regional Council. You will assist in the provision of electrical maintenance for Council buildings properties Water and Wastewater facilities and associated equipment in a safe and efficient manner while completing the requirements of a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician.
This fixed term apprenticeship combines onthejob training with theoretical learning through a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) setting you up for a successful career in the electrical trade.

About You
- Keen and enthusiastic learner with a genuine interest in becoming and Electrician
- Committed to undertaking a 4 year apprenticeship to complete aCertificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
- Successful completion of Year 12 school certificate or equivalent
- Good numeracy written and verbal communication skills along with Sound computer literacy (e.g. utilising Microsoft Office Suite)
- Physical capability to frequently perform manual labouring tasks that may involve strenuous activity repetitive actions and work
- Can work independently or in a team in a professional and positive manner
- Hold a current C class drivers licence (or have in progress and hold a current learners permit)
- Hold a General Construction Industry White Card (or willing to obtain)
- Current First Aid/CPR Certification and/or Current Low Voltage Rescue Certification will be highly regarded
