Position Hours: FULLTIME Sunday Monday Tuesday 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM) and Wednesday 6;00 AM to 12 noon)
Position Wage: Starting at $25 per hour (plus based on experience)

Job Description:The Supervisor/Shift Foreman is responsible for ensuring the plant is being run efficiently and safely byensuring schedules are being met for customers personnel are properly trained assisting withproduction when needed keeping proper documentation & records ensuring proper safetyequipment & protocol are being utilized & overall keeping the shop morale high. Being able to notonly oversee but being proactive by assisting team members to accomplish the days goals will becrucial.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
Production
- Work closely with employees on shift to accomplish set schedules & commitments
- Scheduling of work & communicating as needed with customers
- Oversee operations on production floor
- Understand the processing of all material within production areas
- Ensure plant organization & cleanliness
- Document all maintenance concerns
- Coordinate with Maintenance Department for any equipment repairs
- Document & report all equipment issues to Plant Manager
Team Development & Training
- Working one on one with employees to help in their overall performance
- Complete semiannual employee reviews for all team members
- Provide training coaching & disciplinary actions for all team members
- Maintain documentation of training for employees
- Conduct startup of new equipment & record all training documents needed
- Weekly goals assessments of all individuals in temp to hire status
- Monthly goal assessments of all ThermTech employees in collaboration with shiftforeman
Leadership
- Follow & enforce procedures
- Complete shift audit forms
- Manage intershift meetings and participate in hourly plant walkthrough
- Ensure adequate shift coverage through employee scheduling & cover hours asneeded
- Must be able to work weekends when needed
- Bring company phone home to assist in afterhour issues when needed
- Communicate lead times to CSR Department & directly to customers
- Maintains & strengthens employee morale through the servant leadershipphilosophy
- Provide constructive recommendations for overall improvements in safety quality &productivity standards of performance.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
All hires are contingent upon a 9panel hair follicle drug test & background check.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Acquire/maintain forklift certification
Experience:
2 years in heat treating & prior management/leadership
Hard Skills:
- Understand Bluestreak & Microsoft Office software & use it efficiently
- Understand ThermTechs quality policy mission vision & values statement
- Knowledge and/or previous experience with 6S
- Be knowledgeable of all plant equipment & procedures
- Proficient physical shape able to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly
- Proficient in typing
