R36022 Manufacturing Engineer Senior

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for all detailed processes in connection with manufacturing routings time studies and N/C programs. This role will review new releases for design and manufacturing and support with recommendations for new equipment and tooling. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will provide shop support to aid in improving the coordination and collaboration between Engineering and Operations departments.

YOUR IMPACT:

These duties are not meant to be allinclusive and other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for completion of a project or parts of multiple projects of complexity on time and utilize lean/six sigma principles and methodologies in making process improvements.

  • Performs complex engineering calculations investigations and prepares delivery of plans designs computation methods and/or reporting.

  • Manage the development of timely and accurate N/C programs to aid in efficiency in production.

  • Determine appropriate assembly fixturing that are complex in nature.

  • Review and select required special tooling and equipment.

  • Determine and improve processes to meet production levels.

  • Collaborate with Production team and Operations/Engineering teams.

  • Develop and support recommendations for new equipment and tooling.

  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to others within the Engineering organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Operations Engineering or related field.

  • Five 5 or more years of experience.

  • Complexity Judgment and Problem Solving: Generally diversified and moderately difficult work. Requires judgement in the adaptation and interpretation of established practices and procedures to meet problems and situations to which the application is not clearly defined.

  • Work Schedule: Routine shift hours. Infrequent overtime weekend or shift rotation.

  • Demands/Deadlines: High volume and variable work demands and deadlines impose strain on routine basis or considerable stress intermittently; OR regular direct contacts with distressed individuals within the immediate work environment; and/or exposure to demands and pressures from persons other than immediate supervisor.

Pay Range:

$82000.00 $132800.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range individual pay is determined by various factors including the scope and responsibilities of the role the candidates experience education and skills as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
