Job Description
Cannon Automotive Solutions a division ClevelandCliffs Tooling and Stamping has an immediate opportunity for a Tooling Technician in our Bowling Green Kentucky Stamping Facility. The Tooling Technician is responsible forensuring tooling meets process expectations. The ideal candidate will have good manual dexterity be detailoriented and selfmotivated and thrive in a fastpaced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:
- Compute dimensions and tolerances to set up machinetools
- Position secure measure and work metal stock or castings to lay out formachining
- Assemble/disassemble parts to test completed tools dies jigs or fixtures for proper operation
- Directly work with suppliers to print design or build situations to ensure toolexpectations are met
- Analyze manufacturing repairs and adjustments to formulatesolutions in standardized situations
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years of related work experience
- Trade certification
- Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to understand and effectively communicate oral and written instructions
- Ability to stand for long periods of time/ lift 23 kg 50 lbs)
- Able to work 3shift model: Midnights Days Afternoons and required OT
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of related experience working in a manufacturing environment
