Job Description
Minimum Qualifications
Doctoral degree in Athletic Training or a related field. Athletic Training Certification with the Board of Certification BOC . Certification in Emergency Cardiac Care as determined by the BOC .
Preferred Qualifications
Previous clinical practice in athletic training. Previous teaching experience. Three 3 to five 5 years of clinical athletic training experience. Experience in a Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education CAATE accredited program. Evidence of expertise in collegiate and/or graduatelevel teaching. Evidence of scholarly activity. Evidence of excellent oral and written communication skills. Evidence of excellent organizational skills. Evidence of maintaining electronic/digital student records. History of service in the Athletic Training profession. Positive attitude proven ability to work successfully with diverse populations and demonstrated commitment to promote and enhance diversity and inclusion of the institutional mission and values. Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice equity and inclusion in a university setting. Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.
