UnityPoint Clinic is actively recruiting a Pediatric Physician to join our team in Waterloo & Cedar Falls IA

Established team of 5 physicians and 2 Peds NP
Opportunity to practice a mix of outpatient & Inpatient medicine in an established and wellknown clinic and hospital
Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences
Experienced staff both clinical and nonclinical who know the patients and the community
Fulltime position including dedicated administrative time with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access
Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
Responsibilities
Average of 1525 patients per day in the clinic
Average 810 inpatients with 1:5 call
Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
Well baby visits annual physicals and monitor growth and development
Evaluates interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
Patientfocused friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
Excellent communication (written and verbal) analytical and problemsolving skills
Qualifications
MD or DO
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics
Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physicians field of practice
Eligible to work in the United States (H1B cap exempt)
J1 and H1B visa waiver sponsorship available
