Job Description
Looking to fill this position immediately!! To conduct college technology courses in support of the Welding Technology program and other related programs.
Duties
Looking to fill this position immediately!! 1. Weld flat vertical horizontal and overhead; 2. Weld 6 pipe in various. positions using multiple processes; 3. Cutting with a variety of processes including plasmaarc oxyfuel and saws. 4. Preparing plate structural and pipe materials for welding; 5. Shop safety; 6. Fabrication.
Minimum Requirements
1. AAS degree in Welding; 2. Two years relevant work experience in Utility Chemical Fuel or Sanitary Pipe Welding; 3. Qualified (or able to qualify) on 6 Carbon Steel Pipe In 6 G position utilizing SMAW process. 4. Qualified (or able to qualify) on 6 Carbon Steel Pipe in 6 G position utilizing GTAW process.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Bachelors degree; 2. Two years of teaching postsecondary experience; 3. AWS CWI and/or CWE certification.
