We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector in our Instrumentation Systems Division.
Responsibilities:
  • Verifies that received material meets the requirements specified on the purchase order drawing(s) and/or specification
  • Approves or rejects items and records inspection disposition information.
  • Verifies that assembled printed circuit boards cables and mechanical assemblies are as specified on the drawing(s) parts lists or specifications
  • Reviews traveler inspection record missing material report and closing transfer for completeness and accuracy
  • Verifies that assembly workmanship complies with approved workmanship standards and/or specifications
  • Maintains files necessary to provide documents proof of assembly inspection and test of completed assemblies
  • Assists assembler and inspectors to identify components/hardware
  • Read and interpret assembly drawings specifications and standards.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred
  • Minimum oneyear technical experience in a manufacturing environment preferably including visual inspection
  • Knowledge in IPC workmanship standards
  • Familiarity with rulers pin gauges micrometers and calipers
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills are required
  • Ability to read/interpret assembly drawings specifications and standards
  • Ability to recognize component marking and symbols
  • Ability work with limited supervision
