How Youll Make an Impact
- Perform technical analysis design development testing installation and service.
- Work from instructions drawings proposals and specifications.
- Prepare specifications and related documents per requirements.
- Review and analyze engineering data documents and reports.
- Consult with other engineering groups to ensure suitability of engineering criteria.
- Investigate technical problems and establish corrective actions.
- Allocate time to customerfocused activities product care and operational troubleshooting.
- Assist in preparing specifications selecting materials drafting proposals and preparing licensing and safety documents.
- Develop 2D and 3D models using advanced CAD software (AutoCAD and CREO Parametric).
- Learn and apply basic numerical tolerance calculations and stackup analysis.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.
Your Background
- Bachelors degree in electrical electromechanical or mechanical engineering or a related field with 3 to 7 years of experience.
- Experience with ProE or any 3D CAD modeling software is highly desired but not required.
- Experience with Windchill data management or any PLM software is highly desired but not required.
- Preferably some experience designing or developing electromechanical products mainly transformer components is highly desired but not required.
- Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
