The Humanities and Arts Department at Worcester Polytechnic Institute is regularly seeking parttime adjunct faculty to teach International and Global Studies (INTL) courses. INTL faculty teach introductory courses thematic and area topic seminars and global methods classes to educate wellrounded globally aware students with exceptional analytical skills and sensitivity to culture and context.Complementing our offcampus project centers we especially seek candidates with area expertise in Latin America and the Caribbean Middle East and North Africa Southern and Western African East Asia South Asia Oceania Europe or the US and the World.
We are looking for outstanding scholars involved in critical interdisciplinary and innovative approaches to INTL. Applicants should address explicitly how global perspectives are deployed and/or localglobal dimensions featured in their teaching. A successful candidate should hold a PhD in a relevant discipline in the humanities.
