About the role
MentorMate part of Tietoevry is seeking a Senior Account Manager to drive excellence in client contracting retention and satisfaction. This role is crucial for strengthening our existing client relationships and ensuring longterm business success.
As a Senior Account Manager you will be responsible for proactively developing and maintaining oneonone business relationships within our client base. A key performance metric for this role is client retention and business growth making your contribution essential to MentorMates success.
You will own the relationship between MentorMate and the client ensuring both parties adhere to agreements while managing expectations. This includes engaging with executivelevel stakeholders and collaborating with crossfunctional teams such as Sales Solutions Delivery Legal Finance and Operations to align resources. You will oversee proposals Statements of Work (SoWs) change orders approvals and contracting workflows for assigned accounts. Additionally you will assist in tracking and analyzing key client metrics to support datadriven decisionmaking.
We are looking for a candidate who is highly analytical businesssavvy and excels in writing and project management. The ideal candidate is a strong crossfunctional collaborator who can quickly process information from multiple sources and drive successful outcomes under tight deadlines.
Candidates with deep expertise in insurance finance or FinTech will be given priority.
Responsibilities
Develop a comprehensive understanding of MentorMate including its offerings and new initiatives that impact proposal responses
Create and implement strategies to engage and expand each account
Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities within assigned account base
Provide clients with insurancerelated insights to facilitate additional business and strengthen relationships
Oversee the entire workflow of contract renewals and new business including managing contracts proposals RFPs and estimates
Organize and participate in technical and sales presentations to clients as needed
Build strong productive relationships with clients and internal partners to enhance deal efficiency and achieve revenue goals
Key communicator between clients and team leads
Ensure a toptier experience for both clients and team members
Provide strategic analysis such as margin analysis account growth plans travel plan costs and etc.
Assist with special projects as assigned
Curate and conduct quarterly business reviews with clients
Position will require up to 20 travel
Requirements
Bachelors degree in business administration finance or a related field
Over 7 years of professional experience with at least 5 years in the insurance finance or FinTech sectors
Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to deliver reports that guide strategic decisions
Excellent communications skills: verbal written editing planning
Competence in managing challenging conversations regarding performance costs and status
Strong executive presence and experience collaborating with leadership teams
Technical aptitude necessary to engage effectively in capabilities discussions
Proven track record of managing engagements successfully from inception to completion
Ability to multitask prioritize and manage changing priorities
Excellent crossorganizational skills including the ability to influence without authority and communicate with senior executives
Strong interpersonal skills and a teamoriented mindset
Ability to adapt quickly to a dynamic environment
High level of discretion and confidentiality required
A significant advantage would be
Experience in a software or technology company
Experience collaborating with offshore remote teams
Familiarity with HubSpot or similar platforms
Proficiency in Microsoft Teams
