Overview
Position:Developmental Therapist Madison IN
Location: 2420 Wilson Ave. Madison IN
Schedule: on an as needed basis; MondayFriday no weekends
Compensation: starting at $45.00/hour
KORT Physical Therapy is seeking a Developmental Therapist to join our fun collaborative multidisciplinary team in Madison IN! The Developmental Therapist is instrumental in the planning evaluating and implementation of developmental therapy treatment programs and activities for pediatric patients.
Requirement: Bachelors Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education
Responsibilities
- Plans conducts and evaluates developmental therapy treatment/intervention programs and activities.
- Interprets physician referrals and determines appropriate treatment procedures.
- Makes recommendations concerning standardized treatments or intervention based on developmental indications.
- Completes patient treatments related to various physical skills and functional abilities.
- Interprets results and proposes a treatment/intervention plan in conjunction with other team members including short and long range goals frequency and duration.
- Provides treatment/intervention according to the prescribed plan including task oriented activities neuromotor activities and patient/family counseling and activities.
- Evaluates patient response to treatment/ intervention and makes recommendations on changes in treatment as required.
- Maintains records concerning treatment/intervention provided including both subjective and objective data.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education special education elementary education developmental
psychology or related fields is required. - Credentialed/licensed for Developmental Therapy in state
of IN
Preferred Qualifications:
- First Steps experience
