Job Description
Securitas is looking for a weekend 2nd shift security officer.
PartTime Security Officer Guard Booth Position (Basking Ridge NJ)
Position:Security Officer (Outdoor & Guard Booth)
Location:Basking Ridge NJ
Pay Rate:$17.00 per hour
Schedule:
Saturday and Sunday
2:00pm to 10:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and control accessto the site from the guard booth
Conductexterior and perimeter patrols ensuring site safety
Enforce site rules and report any security incidents or hazards
Assist visitors employees and vendors as needed
Respond promptly to alarms or security concerns
Maintain detailed logs and incident reports
Comfortable working outdoorsand moving in and out of the guard booth throughout the shift
Qualifications:
Valid SORA certification (or willingness to obtain)
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Previous security experience preferred but not required
Strong observational and problemsolving skills
Ability to remain professional and composed in highpressure situations
Reliable transportation to and from the site
Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods and perform patrol duties
