As a Heavy Duty Truck Parts Clerk is responsible for managing and maintaining parts inventory for heavyduty trucksensuring that the necessary parts are available for repairs and maintenance. The job typically involves the following duties and responsibilities.

With a focus on growth and employee development we are seeking an ambitious individual to join our team and contribute to the expansion of our Heavy Duty Parts program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your extensive experience minimum 5 years in Heavy Duty Parts preferably covering all makes to provide comprehensive support to our customers.
  • Demonstrate the Never Say No Philosophy by efficiently gathering information to locate and identify any required Heavy Duty Truck parts.
  • Perform regular stock checks and assist with annual inventory audits.
  • Track and update parts availability and order status in the inventory system. .
  • Receive inspect and verify incoming truck parts shipments.
  • Organize and store parts in the appropriate locations ensuring easy access and proper labeling.
  • Assist techniciansmechanics and customers in identifying the correct parts for repairs and maintenance.
  • Provide advice on parts and returns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Prepare parts orders for shipping or pick upensuring accuracy in order fulfillment.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts.
  • Maintain accurate records of all parts transactionsincluding purchasessales and returns.
  • Update /maintain parts catalogs and databases.
  • Inspect returned parts for defects or damage and determine whether they can be restocked or returned to the supplier.
  • Ensure all parts meet quality standards before they are issued to technicians or customers.
  • Communicate with techniciansrepair shops and customers to ensure parts are available when needed.

Heavy Duty Truck Parts Clerk

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Heavy Duty Parts with a strong preference for comprehensive knowledge across all makes.
  • Proven ability to effectively source and identify Heavy Duty Truck parts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customercentric approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with team members and management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs or more .
  • Pass physical drug screen. .
