Adjunct faculty work parttime with cohorts of up to 32 students. Adjunct faculty at Dominican are members of SEIU.

Adjunct Compensation
Adjunct Faculty members are employed in a professional capacity at the University. For courses including servicelearning courses and laboratories the University compensates Adjunct Faculty Members on a perunit basis for CourseRelated Work as set forth in Article 15 of the CBA.All other duties or work performed on behalf of the University as an Adjunct Faculty Member are compensated in accordance withArticle 12 Faculty Developmentor Article 16 Special Compensation. Adjunct Faculty Members who teach on a perunit basis shall receive compensation per unit for assignments as an instructor for a creditbearing course or laboratory. Movement through the step system shall be based on total number of Dominican Points and satisfactory performance as set forth inArticle 13Performance Evaluation.
