Your Role:
- Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Implement treatment plans using appropriate therapeutic modalities and techniques.
- Document patient progress including subjective objective and assessment findings.
- Educate and counsel patients and their families/caregivers on rehabilitation strategies and goals.
- Assist with patient discharge planning including recommendations for adaptive equipment and continued care.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to Physical Therapy Assistants as needed.
Qualifications:
- Maine State Physical Therapy license (or eligibility to obtain) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and a passion for patientcentered care.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team and in a flexible work environment.
