Position Summary

Under the direction of management this role will lead specific crews within our housekeeping team to provide and maintain a clean safe environment for patrons clients and other guests. Individuals should be proactive leaders with strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills to maintain and ensure consistency and high standards. With our fast paced dynamic 24/7 operation we have various crews within morning evening event and overnight shifts; ongoing training in assigned tasks procedures equipment supplies etc. will be provided.

This role pays an hourly rate of $18 to $20.

Benefits: As outlined in union contract.

About the Venue

Citizens Bank Park is a professional baseball stadium located in Philadelphia Pennsylvania in the citys South Philadelphia Sports Complex. It is the ballpark of Major League Baseballs Philadelphia Phillies. Each year this openair stadium has the pleasure of hosting the MLB season concerts trade shows corporate events charity walks etc.

Responsibilities

  • Following health and safety guidelines and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure all areas were completed and inspected according to standards.
  • Supervise train and motivate housekeeping staff to perform assigned tasks to the best of their abilities ensuring efficient completion.
  • Identify communicate and address challenges
  • Communicate and manage inventory of designated equipment and supplies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for designated areas tasks and shifts.
  • Ensure the housekeeping team follows safety protocols and policy and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to work flexible day evening overnight weekend and holiday hours.
  • Time management skills to complete cleaning tasks promptly within scheduled time.
  • Experience in the housekeeping/janitorial field for a minimum of 25 years.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals equipment and techniques as well as their correct usage and safety procedures is necessary.

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to work closely with others
  • Must be able to work in a fast past environment with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to maintain consistency and highquality service dealing with high volume and backtoback cleaning tasks
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and identifying areas that require special attention.
  • Strong communication organization with the capability of multitasking in a fastpaced environment is essential.

Physical Requirement

  • Must be able to stand bend reach and climb stairs throughout shift as needed
  • Must be able to lift25 pounds throughout the shift
  • Ability to move heavy 100 pounds) wheeled carts.
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions and temperatures
  • Must be comfortable with heights
  • This role requires a considerable amount of movement around our large open air facility in various weather conditions and temperatures following up with assignments and individuals.
