Job Description
Job Title: SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Pittsburg CA
Job Type: FullTime
Job Summary:
ExpertHiring is seeking a dedicated and experienced SpeechLanguage Pathologist to provide speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders. The ideal candidate will assess diagnose and implement treatment plans to support students in achieving academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech language and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans (IEPs) based on student needs.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers parents and other support staff to ensure effective interventions.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Provide consultation and training to educators and staff on speech and language development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal regulations.
- Support students in general and special education classrooms to enhance communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology or related field.
- Valid California SLP License and ASHA CCCSLP certification preferred.
- California Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential in Language Speech and Hearing or eligibility to obtain it.
- Experience working in schoolbased settings preferred.
- Strong understanding of IEP development speech disorders and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication collaboration and organizational skills.
