Job Summary:
Abernathy Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide for immediate interview. Fulltime and parttime position in the healthcare/medical field located in Reading and surrounding areas. As a Home Health Aide you will be responsible for providing quality care to our clients in their homes. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse the Home Health Aide will assist with daily tasks and help improve the overall wellbeing of our clients.
Compensation & Benefits:
The Home Health Aide position at Abernathy Home Care offers a competitive compensation package of $18 to $19 per hour paid biweekly. In addition to monetary compensation we also offer a comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities:
Provide personal care (bathing grooming toileting etc. to clients according to their individual care plans
Assist with ambulation and transfers
Administer medication as directed by a Registered Nurse
Monitor and record vital signs
Assist with meal planning preparation and feeding
Provide light housekeeping and laundry services
Engage clients in activities to promote physical and mental stimulation
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
Communicate any changes or concerns regarding clients condition to the supervising RN
Respect and maintain clients privacy and dignity at all times
Requirements:
Active certification as a Home Health Aide
Previous experience in a home care setting preferred
Ability to effectively communicate and follow written and verbal instructions
Must be physically able to perform the duties of the job including lifting and bending
Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
