Job Description

Are you an experienced real estate attorney with a proven track record and extensive real estate transaction and litigation experience Our busy firm is growing and we need a skilled professional to provide counsel attend closings and litigations draft and review legal documents and represent our clients effectively. If you have 3 years of real estate litigation a current license and excellent negotiation and communication skills apply today.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve in the best interest of your clients during real estate closings in real estate disputes and real estate litigation
  • Coordinate detailed due diligence and inspect title examination closing binder and legal documents for legal risk completion and accuracy
  • Cooperate with city boards and agencies to obtain permits and avoid zoning legal issues
  • Negotiate real estate transaction terms and conditions and facilitate the transfer of title between borrowers real estate agents and title company
  • Oversee support staff such as paralegals and clerks
  • Represent clients in court or before government agencies
  • Advise clients on business and legal transactions
  • Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
  • Comply with all legal standards and regulations
  • Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law
  • Handle residential and commercial landlordtenantrelated disputes with the potential to handle corresponding litigation disputes

Qualifications:

  • Outstanding research negotiation networking and communication skills are necessary
  • Be a member of your local bar association and hold a current law license in the state
  • 3 years of experience as a residential or commercial real estate attorney as a transactional attorney or as corporate counsel for a real estate development firm
  • A Juris Doctorate (J.D. degree from an accredited law school is required
  • Relevant knowledge of property management land use title insurance business law and residential and commercial real estate law including litigation
