Job Description
Partner Staffingis currently working with our client seeking a talented Highway and Roadway Project Engineeror CET to join the team in Lethbridge Alberta. The ideal candidate will workunder the guidance of the project manager and be responsible for assisting inthe management and of highway and roadway projects. They will supportthe project team in planning design construction and completion phases whileensuring adherence to safety quality and regulatory standards.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the project manager in managing highwayand roadway projects from initiation to closeout ensuring adherence to projectspecifications schedules and budgets.
Collaborate with project team members clientsstakeholders and regulatory agencies to define project requirements scopeand objectives.
Support the development of project plansschedules and budgets and assist in monitoring progress to ensure timely andcosteffective project .
Assist in preparing and reviewing engineeringdesigns specifications and drawings for highway and roadway projectsensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers toprocure materials and services required for project implementation.
Conduct field inspections and surveys to gatherdata monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with projectspecifications and standards.
Assist in identifying and mitigating projectrisks and issues and contribute to implementing effective solutions to ensureproject success.
Prepare and maintain project documentationincluding reports drawings and correspondence to support project managementand reporting requirements.
Foster a culture of safety quality andexcellence within the project team and adhere to all relevant regulations andstandards.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering; CET orP.Eng is acceptable
Minimum of 5 years of experience in civilengineering with a focus on highway and roadway projects.
Strong technical knowledge of highway androadway design standards specifications and regulations.
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or otherengineering design software is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skillswith the ability to effectively liaise with project team members clientsstakeholders and subcontractors.
