Job Description

Position Title: Area Manager (AM)

Reports To: Director of Operations (DOO)

Supervises: Account Managers and FillIn Specialist Personnel

Basic Function: Ensure that the cleaning specifications sold to customer are being fulfilled and that the work is being completed on budget (labor and chemical).

Major Responsibilities

  • POSITIVE TEAM ATMOSPHERE with all staff
  • Clean assigned number of hours on a regular basis (if applicable)
  • Manage Account Managers
    • o Accountability delegation and protocol
  • Manage/FillIn Specialists and their facility responsibilities
    • Accountability delegation and protocol
  • Training and retraining of new hires current fillin and frontline staff
  • Manage Chronotek for labor/time budget no missed cleans
    • Put together strategy if over budget laborwise how to come into alignment.
  • Scheduling: assign fillin specialists open accounts to temporarily staff
  • Work closely in a team like manner with the Leadership Team and follow up on tasks generated by Management (Example: talk with employee because of poor inspection).
  • You are responsible for working with team members when time off is needed.
  • You will accurately track team members points (which directly tie into annual performance reviews).
  • Timely & Accurate reporting (directly to Director of Operations & Office Manager) of any revisions to team members time logs with DATE TIME & REASON and POINT LOSS (if applicable).
  • Work whatever hours necessary to perform the above duties and any other duties not listed but required for the business to be successful.
    • It is understood that a workweek could be in excess of 40 hours but overtime must be approved in advance.

  1. UPWARD COMMUNICATION to the Director of Operations:
    • Proactive reporting Score Cards Work Tickets (start followthrough completion) possible addon services noted
  • Work with fillin specialists to address and remedy quality and compliance and staffing concerns (retraining etc.

  1. ACCOUNTIBILITY by:
    • Report weekly via an Area Leads Score Card Report (weekly meeting)
      • accounts for time and responsibilities to the GM.
    • Attend weekly staff meetings accounting for time tasks completed tasks yet to complete problem solve with Leadership Team
    • Weekly reports on callins ongoing customer issues training status of new hires audits and inspections new account startups etc.

  • Desire to learn seek new challenges and take on additional responsibilities
  • Reasoning ability good common sense with ability to solve practical problems
