Job Summary
A Community Bridges Inc. (CBI) Clinical Assessor is a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) who has been credentialed and privileged by the designated RBHA or is a licensed professional who is responsible for conducting the initial screening intake and assessment with any individual who is referred to CBI for outpatient services. The Clinical Assessor screens referred individuals for treatment appropriateness reviews and completes all necessary legal documents with the patient/participant conducts a biopsychosocial assessment develops an initial treatment plan with each patient/participant provides referrals based on identified needs orients each patient/participant to his or her treatment modality and coordinates initial services with the referring agency or other members of the treatment team.
Skills/Requirements
Highschool diploma or GED and either:
o 18 credit hours of posthigh school education in a field related to behavioral health and two years of fulltime behavioral health work experience; or
o four years of fulltime behavioral health work experience
Has an associates degree and at least two years of fulltime behavioral health work experience; or
Has a bachelors degree in a field other than behavioral health and at least one year of fulltime behavioral health work experience; or
Has a masters degree or bachelors degree in a field related to behavioral health.
Valid identification required.
Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in accordance with A.A.C. R910101 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures required.
