Job Description

Precision Aviation Group (PAG) is a leading provider of products and valueadded services to the aerospace and defense industries worldwide. With 850000squarefeet sales and services facilities in the United States Canada Australia Singapore Brazil PAGs 23 locations and customerfocused business model serve aviation customers through Supply Chain and Inventory Supported Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (ISMRO) services.

We have a Detail Parts Inspector for our location in Carrollton TX

JOB PURPOSE

Dimensional inspection of engine parts

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Job Functions:

Read and interpret maintenance and overhaul manuals service bulletins and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing lifelimited malfunctioning or damaged components.

Replace or repair worn defective or damaged components using hand tools gauges and testing equipment.

Perform testing of PT6 model engines and components

Performing inspection of incoming parts and final inspection of articles. Ensuring all inspections are properly performed and recorded and all records are properly executed before final approval for return to service of articles maintained or altered by Prime Turbines.

Ensuring the Work Order packages contain the required documents and forms

Ideal candidates will offer:

Proficient in reading and understanding manufacturers instructions drawings and technical documents.

Mechanical experience in either the Aviation or Automotive Industry

Ability to use precision measuring equipment i.e. micrometers calipers dial indicators etc.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Physical Demands: Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Requires frequent walking bending and reaching to shoulder level. Requires occasional squatting lifting carrying pushing or pulling weight up to 60 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eyehand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

Equipment Operated: Ability to use precision measuring equipment i.e. micrometers calipers dial indicators etc.

Work Location: Prime Turbines Dallas (Carrollton) Texas

Education/Training: High School diploma or GED Equivalent.

Experience: At least 2 years of related experience in Aviation or related field preferred.
