This is a unique opportunity to join a team of a leading global life sciences company that advances patient health and powers clear confident decisions through its diagnostics and drug development offerings selling the benefits of LabCorp in many physician specialties.
As a Key Account Executive (KAE) you will be responsible for managing a large existing book of business while also introducing focused specialty products analytical platforms and workflow efficiencies to your clients. Striving for strong customer service with increased growth from this book of business.
The territory for this fieldbased position covers Tupelo Mississippi and surrounding northern cities. The primary focus will be healthcare providers to service existing business and promote laboratory testing to help improve patient health and outcomes.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Educatesinstructsand upsells all assigned and newly generated accounts in an assigned territory
- Acts as a liaison between the client and the LabCorp operations team in relation to client needs
- Providesongoing service and problem resolution to customer base
- Ensures customer retention byprovidingsuperior customer service
- Recommends solutions that are client focused and persuasive
- Providesaccount management forclientsday to day operations
- Upsellscurrent book of business to increase organic growth
- Works closely with senior sales representatives to grow book of business
- Continuouslyprovideseducational material to the client base
- Resolves any customer related issuesin a timely manner
- Meets and exceeds monthly retentionand upsell revenue quota
Minimum Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years experience in an Account Management Client Success role or client facing.
- Current or previous clinical laboratory or diagnostics sales experience
- At least 1 year of clinical operations experience including an understanding of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) understanding physician office work flow and service expectation
- Experience in the healthcare industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Must be able to travel to cover assigned geographic area.
- Persuasive verbal and written communication skills
- Superior customer service skills with the ability to build trustbased relationships
- Ability to deliver results in a fast paced competitive market
- Self motivated
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree
- Proven success managing a book of business
- Proven success in upselling & client renewals.
