Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a fulltime Nurse CoordinatorRegisterered Nurse to support the Federal Occupational Health Clinic at the Federal Trade Commission (Z3K) inWashington DC.
Position Highlights:
- Excellent work/life balance Clinic Schedule: MondayFriday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- Freedom from weekend holiday or oncall responsibilities
- Lowstress environment focusing on employee health
- Care for adult employees working at the Federal Building not the public
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care in an occupational health setting including: first aid emergency response provision of treatments prescribed by a personal physician assessing and monitoring environmental hazards for special classes of employees promoting optimal employee wellness & riskbased prevention programs
- Provide education to clients (BP monitoring flu immunizations etc.
- Coordinates plans and implements all administrative activities (order medical supplies etc.
Position Requirements:
- 2 years of RN experience providing direct patient care required
- Must be able to perform a blood draw and intramuscular and subcutaneous injections
- Graduate from a National League of Nursing accredited school (Diploma AD or BSN)
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
- Active RN licensure in any of the 50 states active and unrestricted
- Minimum 1 year supervisor/management experience preferred
