Wireman

Power your future with Qualus in our Field Engineering department as a Wireman. The Wireman is to perform wire pulling wire termination and control panel construction withing substations and electrical facilities.

• Reads prints uses standard hand and power tools follow specific work instructions while adhering to all Safety and Human Performance fundamentals
• Inspect test repair and maintain electrical equipment in generating stations substations and inservice relays
• Wires from pointtopoint or schematics
• Install process piping and instrumentation
• Installs components per layout drawings

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Basic electrical knowledge in commercial industrial or utility projects
• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables
• Ability to read company manuals and reports workplace rules and procedures; speak with poise and confidence using correct English
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel and Outlook)
• Perform regular field work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
• Valid Drivers license and good driving record
