Audiology Extern

The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the universitys missions and goals of teaching research patient care outreach and public service.

This is a 12month full time Audiology Externship beginning June 2025. Applicants can expect a wellrounded clinical placement offering experience in both pediatric and adult populations in a demanding and diverse environment. Externs will serve patients within a large hospitalbased outpatient clinic. Externs will gain handson experience in diagnostics hearing aids osseointegrated devices cochlear implants and aural rehabilitation. Our team collaborates daily with our neurootologists and otolaryngologist providers allowing for evidencebased comprehensive treatment plans for our patients.

We are seeking applicants who have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and who are motivated to provide exceptional service and care to individuals and families. The audiology extern candidate must be enrolled in an accredited Doctor of Audiology program. Successful candidates should demonstrate the ability to work within a fastpaced setting and work closely with other clinicians.

• Applicants should be Doctorate of Audiology Students in their final year needing clinical hours required to complete an AuD.
