Job Description
Salary/Position Classification
- $65000 annual for Clinical Instructor/$69900 annual for Clinical Asst Professor
- This position will work onsite the Grand Forks ND campus.
Purpose of Position
The mission of the College of Nursing & Professional Disciplines (CNPD) is to provide excellent and collaborative education scholarship and service to advance human wellbeing for all with an emphasis on rural and underserved populations.
The CNPD offers innovative online educational programs a simulation laboratory and a supportive student environment for both facetoface and distance learning. The CNPD highly values diversity in our faculty students and staff at all levels of instructional support. The college consists of the departments of Nursing Nutrition & Dietetics and Social Work. For this position we are looking for aClinical Instructor/Clinical Assistant Professor to teach in our Undergraduate Nursing program.
Duties & Responsibilities
- 90 Teaching will vary but may include *NURS 313 Clinical Practicum I and NURS 333 Clinical Practicum II
- 10 Service to department college and/or university
Required Competencies

- Ability to comply with deadlines
Minimum Requirements
- Masters degree in nursing OR masters degree in another field with completion of Nursing Education Certificate OR bachelors degree in nursing and currently enrolled and making progress on a masters degree in nursing
- Unencumbered ND nursing license or eligible for licensure in ND
- Two years of nursing practice experience
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications
- Masters degree in Nursing
- Doctoral degree in Nursing or enrolled in doctoral study
- Teaching experience in an academic setting
