We are excited to be working with a wellrespected 1 Rosette gastropub in Wokingham celebrated for its commitment to fresh locally sourced and seasonal British cuisine. Owned by a former chef this gastropub prides itself on a menu that evolves with the best ingredients available working closely with trusted suppliers and embracing wholeanimal butchery.
Youll be wondering whats in it for you as the Sous Chef
- 36000 to 40000 package
- Live in accommodation available 400 a month
- Working 48 hours per week
- Handson experience with wholeanimal butchery and seasonal menu development

Responsibilities as the Sous Chef
- Supporting the Head Chef in running all aspects of the kitchen from service to supplier management
- Leading the brigade in the Head Chefs absence and ensuring smooth service
- Assisting with menu development creating dishes that showcase the best local produce
- Maintaining high kitchen standards ensuring consistency in food quality and presentation
- Helping manage stock levels GP and ordering to keep the kitchen running efficiently
- Training and mentoring junior chefs fostering a positive and professional kitchen environment
