Job Description
Assist in the delivery of an art project combining philosophy science and art. Work together with Dr Lina Jansson and artist Alistair McClymont
Start Date:31 March 2025
End Date: 30 June 2025
Working Hours:36 hours in total over the duration of the assignment
Pay Rate: 16.65 per hour
Location: University of Nottingham Humanities
Dress Code: Smart casual
The duties will include:
- You will support the delivery of outreach related to the APEX project collaboration with the ARTLab connected to the Cosmic Titans exhibition. For example liaising with artists and curators scheduling public talks producing posters etc.
- Other duties to support the project delivery as requested by the line manager.
Skills and experience required for the role:
- This role is only open to students studying on MA or PhD programme in philosophy or PhD programme in Physics or Mathematics.
- Have an excellent command of the English language with written and verbal communication that is clear and easy to understand
- Have a professional approach towards work relationships and customer engagement
- Experience and knowledge of philosophy
- Be able to work well in mixed teamsbuild strong alliances and engage effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
- Be highly driven selfstarting and proactive and with the ability to work independently manage own workload to meet deadlines and to prioritise tasks
