Join AXA Global Healthcares Compliance Team as a Compliance Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract where youll play a vital role in enhancing our Risk and Compliance framework. This position exists to support a comprehensive review and remediation exercise that aims to align our policies with regulatory requirements and AXA Group Standards. Over the next 6 to 12 months youll engage in critical tasks such as uplifting our policy framework based on a recent gap analysis collaborating with business stakeholders to design and implement effective compliance controls and ensuring thorough documentation and tracking of project deliverables. Youll also assist in preparing regular reports for senior management and Board committees. This is an exciting opportunity with the potential for interim roles to transition into permanent positions based on the future direction of our Compliance function. What youll be doing:

  • Play a pivotal role in enhancing AGHs Compliance Policy Framework by implementing recommendations crafting refreshed policies and ensuring alignment with UK regulations and AXA Group Standards.
  • Collaborate in the creation of engaging training programs and communications that bring our revised policies to life and empower the organization.
  • Drive the review of business processes while designing and implementing robust controls within Compliance and Line 1 ensuring our revised policies are seamlessly integrated into AGHs operations.
  • Contribute to the refinement of AGHs governance forums including the development of comprehensive Terms of Reference that support effective oversight.
  • Mentor and inspire junior team members providing guidance and support as they engage in these crucial tasks fostering a collaborative and growthoriented team environment.

What youll bring:

  • Relevant experience in compliance legal risk management financial crime control or audit.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Financial Conduct Authority Handbook rules with desirable experience in Consumer Duty and Product Governance.
  • Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear actionable guidance for business stakeholders.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills with a knack for managing competing demands and stakeholder expectations dynamically.
  • Significant experience in a second line Compliance or Risk function or a first line Risk or Control function.
  • Familiarity with International Private Medical Insurance (IPMI) and complex crossborder arrangements.
  • Understanding of risk management frameworks and controls along with a detailed knowledge of Insurance Conduct of Business rules and regulatory requirements.

As a precondition of employment for this role you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
