Business Development Manager

Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends opportunities and potential risks within the mortgage lending industry
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve revenue and market share goals
- Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
- Identify and target potential clients including mortgage brokers real estate professionals and financial institutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored mortgage lending solutions
- Partnership Development:
- Establish and nurture partnerships with industry stakeholders including real estate agencies title companies and legal firms
- Collaborate with partners to create mutually beneficial referral programs and joint marketing initiatives
- Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue objectives by actively prospecting and closing new business deals
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline including tracking and reporting on sales activities
- Product Knowledge and Compliance:
- Stay current on mortgage lending products regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws regulations and company policies
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with underwriters loan officers and other internal teams to facilitate a seamless client onboarding and loan processing experience
- Provide feedback and insights to enhance product offerings and customer satisfaction
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Indepth knowledge of mortgage products loan origination processes and industry regulations
- Strong network of industry contacts and relationships
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Resultsoriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Credentials and Experience Required
- Bachelors degree in Business Finance or a related field (MBA preferred)
- Proven track record of success in business development within the mortgage lending industry
