Summary of Position
This position will support the analysis and integration of preclinical translational and clinical data to inform translational objectives including definition of target populations predictive biomarkers and drug mechanism of action. The incumbent will be responsible for collaborating with multiple groups in research and development to generate detailed data sets for internal and external presentations.
Responsibilities and Job Duties:
- Integrate analyze and interpret biological and clinical data sets using R and other statistical tools.
- Implement bioinformatics pipelines with established workflows for data processing and analysis.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including research and clinical scientist third party vendors to initiate nextgeneration sequencing workflows and present data to project teams.
- Index and manage sample repositories and manifests to ensure sample availability for study design and data analysis.
- Prepare and present data reports visualizations and summaries to stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
Education & Credentials
B.S. or M.S. in biostatistics or related field
Experience
Associate Data Scientist II requires a minimum of 2 years experience for B.S. in bioinformatics data sciences or related fields.
Data Scientist I requires a minimum of 3 years experience for B.S. or 0 years for M.S. in bioinformatics data sciences or related fields.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and data visualization techniques.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Basic knowledge of molecular biology genetics and related life sciences is a plus.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Familiarity with generation of dashboards
- Knowledge of database management systems (SQL) and data integration techniques.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS Google Cloud or Azure

Additional Information
The annual rate of pay for this position ranges from $76200 $116300 (Associate Scientist II) and $89300 $136300 (Data Scientist I). For nonexempt roles and according to applicable regulations there may be the possibility for overtime pay. This role is eligible for the Companys discretionary bonus and discretionary equity incentives. Eligible employees may participate in the Companys benefits programs including medical / dental / vision / prescription coverage employee wellness resources 401(k) plan with employer match access to an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) paid time off & paid parental leave benefits and disability benefits.
The annual pay rate range is described in good faith and the Company believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting depending on the candidates experience qualifications geographic location and other factors permitted by law. The Company may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range may be modified in the future. No amount is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned vested and determinable under the terms and conditions of the applicable policies and plans. The amount and availability of any bonus commission benefits or any other form of compensation and benefits that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Companys sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Companys sole discretion consistent with the law.
