Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.

Manage the development and implementation process for large complex and critical company products involving departmental or crossfunctional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff providing technical support and direction. Communicate status to executive management regularly.

Acknowledged expert/professional within company and/or industry nationally and internationally. Provides leadership in the development and strategic direction of new products processes techniques. Acts as primary consultant on large projects that effect the organizations long term objectives / strategy. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 15 or more years of project management product design or related experience needed.

What youll do:

As the Data Management Services (DMS) Chief of Staff you will serve as thought partner for the VP of DMS assisting in the development and of longterm strategies and product roadmaps as well as function as the internal business leader managing daytoday team operations.

You will apply your extensive knowledge of operational excellence program/portfolio management and organizational leadership to collaborate with and support engineering & functional leaders in delivering against organizational goals and product roadmaps.

You will be responsible for identifying systemic issues and driving largescale improvement initiatives designed to enhance organizational capabilities. You will design and optimize systems and processes that increase organizational effectiveness enabling the rapid development of new technologies atscale supporting the DMS product portfolio and enhancing the capabilities of teams across OCI.

As the Chief of Staff (CoS) for OCI Data Management Services (DMS) your responsibilities will include:

  1. Serve as thought partner for VP of DMS assisting in development of DMS vision and strategy annual budget and staffing plans product portfolio and individual service roadmaps.
  1. Function as a force multiplier for VP of DMS (two sides of the same coin) serving as internal leader responsible for daytoday management of business and operations.
  1. Exercise sound leadership and judgment supporting service leaders execute against development roadmaps and ensure achievement of operational goals and metrics.
  1. Drive the cadence and content for business operational and strategic reviews.
  1. Responsible for maximizing weekly monthly quarterly and annual operational performance of DMS portfolio.
  1. Set and drive regular cadence of communications to various stakeholders including internal team members and external audiences.
  1. Identify prioritize and drive successful of largescale crossfunctional initiatives developing creative solutions that solve for systemic issues enhance organizational performance and/or facilitate achievement of strategic goals and objectives.
  1. Represent DMS leadership organizational interests through regular interaction with internal & external stakeholders of all levels to drive business priorities and influence strategic direction.
  1. Manage agendas/topics and serve as emcee for meetings strategic offsites and other important reviews.
  1. Facilitate discussions in areas related to program directions strategic discussions and conflicts.
  1. Serve as advisor for members of the DMS executive leadership team


Assists in the creation of organizational strategy and consults with senior management in providing direction to ensure growth and financial success. Ensures a consistent approach of organizational policies and procedures. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills analytical skills thorough understanding of operational excellence and extensive experience leading large globally distributed matrixed organizations. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Successful track record in program management operational excellence organizational leadership or other related experience.

Basic Qualifications:

15 years of technical program management experience.

12 years of experience in designing and leading technical program management and/or operational excellence teams with proven success of driving highly complex strategic initiatives that result in significant longterm positive impact to the business.

Extensive experience leading within large globally distributed matrixed organizations that include multiple leaders with significant impact on the business.

7 years of experience as a leader of leaders.

Bachelors in Computer Science/Business/Finance or related field.

Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar professional designation.

Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt (LSSBB) or similar process improvement certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

17 years of technical program management experience.

15 years of experience in designing and leading technical program management and/or operational excellence teams with proven success of driving highly complex strategic initiatives that result in significant longterm positive impact to the business.

10 years of experience as a leader of leaders.

Lean Six Sigma Master Blackbelt (LSSMBB) or similar process improvement certification

M.S. M.B.A and/or Masters in Finance or related field
