Job Description

We design and manufacture the worlds leading industrial and IT enclosures racks and accessories including high efficiency highdensity power management and climate control systems for industrial data center outdoor and hybrid applications.

As the Supervisor of Fabrication you will Supervise manufacturing and production teams. Responsible for production schedule and for maintaining inventory of supplies and raw materials to keep production flowing smoothly. Enforce compliance with company procedures regarding safety security housekeeping process documentation standard operating procedures and s management. Ensure that standards for product quality equipment and operator performance are maintained and that costeffective technology is used to maximize production. Initiate recommendations on purchases of new equipment and improvements to plant property. Coordinates and leads daily team activities.

You will contribute by;

  • Oversee a team of hourly production staff over multiple shifts.
  • Meet /exceed all targets for quality productivity uptime ontime delivery and cost.
  • Interface with Production Quality & Engineers to implement the best lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Monitor s/rework generated by personnel/processes. Generate corrective actions when necessary. Lead s/rework reduction team in coordination with Quality Control.
  • Actively participate in improving material flow; develop new ideas or methods to improve efficiency.
  • Verify material availability by maintaining accurate material identification accurate counting and accurate scanning at all key reporting points.
  • Assist Manufacturing Engineering in design and layout of working areas for best workflow to minimize waste of all types.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities to achieve a World Class manufacturing environment by use of established RPS teams.
  • Oversee timely completion of and improve upon TPMs for machines in the area.
  • Support development of all employees to their full potential.
  • Monitor and maintain attendance records for all reporting personnel. Issue disciplinary action when required in accordance with the Rittal Corporation Handbook.
  • Continuously improve your own skills and competencies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for is;

  • Associates or bachelors degree in Process or Manufacturing Engineering preferred
  • 6 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role.
  • Must understand Six Sigma and Lean methodology.
  • Must have working knowledge of all Microsoft products. SAP experience is a plus.
  • Proven capacity to coordinate and lead remote teams working in different geographic locations.
  • Demonstrated experience in management of project scope cost schedules and vendors/subcontractors.
  • Ability to operate under pressure within tight deadlines and in a dynamic environment.
  • Proven working experience with electronic Industrial manufacturing preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and datadriven thinking.
