Job Description
Position: 1st Class Shipfitter
Job Location: Tampa FL.
Hutco Branch: Tampa FL.
Rate of Pay: $17 to $26 per hour and $120.00 Daily Per Diem for those who qualify
Description: Lays out and fabricates metal structural parts such as plates bulkheads and frames and braces them in position within hull of ship for welding.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience as 1 st class shipfitter
- Outfitting experience
- Must know Ship terminology
- Must read blue prints to lay out and fabricate parts for ships
- Must be able to burn and bevel with hand torch
- Must pass fillet weld test using 7018 rods
- Must pass drug test and EVerify
- Must be able to work all shifts
