Summary
CHS Agriculture is looking for drivers to deliver palletized goods from its local warehouse to retail customers. Much of the role is a Monday Friday day shift opportunity. There may be occasions where commodities timing and length of haul are slightly different.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver product to customers in a safe timely and professional manner.
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies procedures and regulations.
- Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
- Immediately report all accidents traffic violations and damage to vehicles.
- Provide excellent customer service while representing CHS.
- Assist in warehouse when not delivering product with tasks that are deemed necessary to help teammates.
- Perform various duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- High School diploma or GED
- CDL class A or B
Additional Qualifications
- Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements if not already obtained
- Must meet DOT and Company requirements
- Ability to work additional hours and occasional Saturdays to meet business demands
Physical Requirements
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug test
