Voyago is hiring a School Bus Driver in St. Thomas!
Your Role:
A school bus driver ensures the safe and timely transportation of students to and from school as well as schoolrelated activities. Their responsibilities include:
- Safety First: Maintaining a safe driving environment following all traffic laws and ensuring students are seated and secure.
- Time Management: Adhering to scheduled routes and timeframes while accommodating unforeseen delays.
- Student Supervision: Managing student behavior onboard creating a respectful and orderly atmosphere.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Performing pre and posttrip inspections to ensure the bus is in proper working condition and reporting any issues.
- Communication: Coordinating with parents school officials and dispatch for updates or emergencies.
Above all a school bus driver plays a critical role in fostering trust and safety for students parents and the community.
Requirements
Your Profile:
- SafetyFocused: You prioritize safety in all aspects of your role.
- Valid Drivers License: You hold a minimum full Gclass drivers license. Preference will be given to applicants with a Class B or E license.
- Age Requirement: You are 21 years of age or older.
- Clean Driving Record: You are a safe driver with a spotless driving record.
- Clear Background Check: You can provide a clean criminal record search and/or vulnerable sector screening.
- Regional Knowledge: You live in and have a strong understanding of the region and surrounding areas.
- Independent Worker: You have the ability to work effectively on your own.
- Shift Availability: You are available for shifts Monday to Friday approximately between 6:30 AM 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM 4:00 PM (start and end times may vary based on the route).
- Strong Communication Skills: You possess excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills. (B1 to C2
Your location:
Voyago is looking for drivers for school routes that begin and end in St. Thomas. Drivers with space in their personal driveways or permission to park a bus at their location may take their bus home!
For drivers unable to take a bus home we offer multiple parkout locations conveniently located within St. Thomas.
By joining the Voyago Schools team youll find:

- You will be compensated for a 3.5 hour minimum daily shift
