Job Schedule: Full Time. Day Shift. Monday through Friday 8am 430pm. Schedule Subject to Change Based on Business Needs.
Mechanic Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team to assemble maintain and repair machinery and vehicles. As a Mechanic you will ensure the functionality safety and reliability of machines engines and mechanical systems. Ideal candidates will have strong attention to detail manual dexterity and experience with a wide range of machines and tools following strict safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and build machines or mechanical components according to specifications
- Inspect and troubleshoot machines engines and transmissions to identify and diagnose issues
- Run diagnostic tests and maintain detailed logs of all work performed
- Conduct repairs with an emphasis on maximizing functionality and reliability
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery equipment and systems
- Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components and replenish necessary fluids
- Advise on correct maintenance practices and preventative measures to machine users
- Undertake additional duties as required such as repairs of hydraulic systems paintingvehiclesetc.
- Experience with heavy equipment is a plus
Requirements & Skills
- Minimum of 510 years of proven experience as a Mechanic
- Valid Drivers license required.
- DOT Physical Required but paid for by Company expense.
- Dot Medical Card
- Strong knowledge of machinery hydraulic electrical and other mechanical systems
- Skilled in using hand tools shop tools and precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers)
- Ability to follow established procedures read instruction manuals and wiring schematics
- Must have basic hand tools for daily use
- Commitment to adhering to health and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and problemsolving skills
- Strong physical stamina and good overall fitness
- Positive attitude and reliable attendance
- High school diploma preferred; certification from a vocational school or apprenticeship is a plus
- ASE certifications are preferred but not required
