The University of Kansas Health System Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Behavioral Psychologist. This individual will be responsible for providing care to pediatric patients with common behavioral issues in childhood and adolescence such as internalizing and externalizing disorders.
This role includes teaching graduatelevel learners from various disciplines including medical students and pediatric residents within a clinical setting.
The ideal candidate should have training and experience in Young Child Mental Health evaluation and treatment of severe mental illness in children and adolescence dialectical behavior therapy young child behavior management screening and treatment for suicide and selfharm in children.
This candidate will have obtained a PhD in Clinical Psychology with Children and be a licensed psychologist (LP) additionally candidates must hold a current license from the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board (BSRB) or be license eligible.
