The basics of this position:

The Clinical Laboratory Technology Program in the College of Health Sciences at St Louis Community College is accepting applications for the position of full time faculty Instructor I/II or Assistant Professor at Wildwood and Forest Park campuses as needed. This is a fulltime faculty position that will involve teaching organizing laboratory sessions and other duties as assigned by the department chair/ program director. This position comes with health and retirement benefits. Teaching organizing labs advising students scheduling and etc.

What youll do:

  • Responsibilities include teaching students in laboratory classes online courses oncampus courses and hybrid courses coordination and liaison of clinical education courses wit partner labs and hospitals and student advising. Other duties include but are not limited to hospital site visits student recruitment developing and teaching MLT curriculum faculty meetings NAACLS accreditation activities and service to CLT department and other entities of St Louis Community College. Instruction lab and clinical liaison and assist students.

Education experience and other requirements:

Bachelors Degree must have a ASCP certification. must have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience and lab experience or both.
Experience with teaching multi areas of Medical Technology
(Hematology Microbiology Clinical Chemistry and Blood banking) is a plus.
