Job Summary
Always Best Care is looking for a Part Time Caregiver to provide assistance in physical care and emotional support to our clients in Stockton Lathrop Manteca and Modesto in California. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills as you will be providing support for individuals with varying levels of physical or emotional needs. You will be responsible for assisting with providing basic personal and healthcare needs helping to manage activities of daily living and providing companion care and comfort from clients relatives. The ability to be flexible and adapt to change are essential for this role.
Compensation & Benefits
This role offers competitive compensation of $16 to $18 per hour paid biweekly. Additionally Always Best Care offers ongoing training for employees to ensure skills remain up to date.
Responsibilities
Provide basic care and assistance with ADLs
Document care services accurately in a timely manner
Handle medications and medical equipment appropriately and in a safe manner
Communicate any necessary information to family friends and other healthcare professionals
Supervise client to ensure their safety at all times
Assist with activities such as bathing dressing grooming and meal preparation
Provide companionship and support to clients
Follow a treatment plan prescribed by a physician or other healthcare professional
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Background check
Minimum 1 year of experience in a caregiving role
Valid CA Drivers License and reliable transportation
Home Care Aide Registry number
Current TB 6 mos1 year)
Ability to be flexible and adapt to change
